Dr. Nannette Wagner-Lockard purchased the practice in 2016. She is the 4th owner and happy to join the Pagosa Springs community.

Owner & CEO
Nannette Wagner-Lockard D.V.M., MPH purchased Pagosa Veterinary Clinic in April of 2016. Prior to that she had practiced in Bayfield CO for 8 years, and has also practiced in Sedona AZ and Laramie WY. Dr. Lockard received her DVM from Kansas State University, but is a Colorado native who always wanted to practice in the southwest mountains of home. Nannette and her husband Fred share their lives with son Sean, grandson Shane, three dogs ( Tela, Boss and Pebbles), four cats (Prunie, Pudgie, Chabba and Handsome Bob), three horses (Mojo, Piedra, and Sunny), and one lonely catfish (Metheusela). They spend any free time hiking, horseback riding, camping and gardening.
Chastity is originally from New Jersey. She came to the area via Arizona. She has been in the veterinary field since 1998, In Arizona, she started out as a kennel technician, moving into the Veterinary Assistant position fairly quickly. Chastity planned on taking the Arizona Board Test to become a Certified Veterinary Technician, in 2001, but circumstances changed and she chose to continue as non-certified Technician. Prior to starting her career in the Veterinary field, she worked as a Manager and in the accounting field. She was lucky enough to be able to continue in these fields during her veterinary career. Chastity enjoys traveling during her off time with her husband, 2 dogs and 2 Degus.
Ashley began her career at Pagosa Veterinary Clinic in Oct 2011. She enjoys working to improve the lives of our clients and patients. She has a special interest in surgical procedures, particularly abdominal and orthopedic surgeries. Ashley loves spending time with her family and her rambunctious dogs, Dodger and Atlas. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar, camping, paddle boarding, and learning about astronomy. She came to Pagosa Springs in 2001 after moving here from Cañon City, CO.
